Biography : Just about anyone with electricity has probably heard (or heard of) Beyonc? Knowles, the singing/acting superstarlet who's hot on the heels of J. Lo for the title of R&B's Queen Bee. Beyonc? hit mega-stardom in 1997 when her group Destiny's Child had its first multi-platinum single. Her first solo album, released in 2003, has also sold a bajillion copies. Beyonc? bounced into another stratosphere of success in 2002 by starring opposite Mike Myers as Foxy Cleopatra in the obscenely profitable Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), installment three in the interminable series of potty-joke spy spoofs. Her giant afro and skin-py gold lam? oufits in the film recalled the glory days of blaxploitation star Pam Grier . . . but unfortunately, and unlike Grier, she kept her hip huggers buttoned up. Her next release, The Fighting Temptations (2003), still left viewers in the dark as to what her ebony bon-bons look like out of the candy box. Same with Dreamgirls (2006), though even without getting nude Beyonc? Knowles was still everyone's dreamgirl. However, her skinematic career is just starting out, and showing her Hershey's Kisses might be just what Beyonc? needs to pay her "automo'bills" for life!
